Fairmarket Advisory Services helps policy owners receive cash for their whole life and Indexed Universal life (IUL) insurance policies to help them adjust their life plan while keeping some of the insurance coverage for their beneficiary (ies.)
Fairmarket Advisory Services . (“FairMarket Advisory”) was incorporated in June 2021. The owners, management, and staff of FairMarket Advisory are noted for their expertise in specialty life insurance products, their tradition of regulatory support, and their long experience with institutional funding. FairMarket Advisory management has been in the institutionally funded specialty life insurance industry since 1992, which has enabled us to understand and operate efficiently within that environment.
Fairmarket Advisory Services was created to provide proprietary products for owners of Whole Life and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance policies.
Todd Green was born in Monmouth, IL. He attended college at the University of Arkansas and played football for legendary coach Lou Holtz. At age 23, Todd got his start in the car dealership business, becoming the youngest Toyota dealer in the nation. Over the years, that has expanded into 13 different car brands, selling over 15,000 cars per year. In the 2000s, he began to diversify into other business ventures. Todd brings his 40+ years of business knowledge and investments to LSS. He spends most of his time in Naples, FL and the other time in Springfield, IL. Todd has been married for 27 years and has two children in their early twenties. In his free time, Todd enjoys playing pickle ball, golfing, and traveling with his family.
Clay Winfield was raised in the Midwest and attended Southern Illinois University (SIUE). Clay founded Winfield Construction in 1974. The business focuses on the construction of homes and apartments, commercial construction, and land development. Clay created two bank holding companies in Illinois and Florida and holds a board position for a publicly traded company. Clay has always been involved directly with people and enjoys the business relationships he has made through the years. He has been a full time resident of Naples, Florida, since 2000. Clay and his wife, Bonnie, have been married for 28 years. They have five children and six grandchildren. In his spare time, Clay enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
In late 2020, Ken Klein was the co-developer of a proprietary loan program designed to provide whole and indexed universal life policyholders with alternatives to surrender, sale or lapse. He also co-founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of FairMarket Advisory Services, LLC, which is the exclusive national distributor of the “Loan for Your Whole Life” Program.
From 2004-2020 , Ken Klein was the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of FairMarket Life Settlements Corp, one of the industry’s largest licensed life insurance policy originators.
Having founded the first institutionally funded viatical/life settlement company in 1992, Ken Klein served as an Owner, Director and Chief Executive Officer of three life insurance policy origination companies between 1992 and 2004.
Prior to 1992, Ken Klein served as Owner, Attorney, Senior Executive and/or Board Member of a number of privately and publically held financial services companies located in Geneva (Switzerland}, Paris (France} and New York City. Ken Klein received his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and his Bachelor of Laws degree from Columbia University and is a Member of the New York Bar.
Gabe Green was born and raised in Springfield, IL where he was named 2014 Illinois Football Gatorade Player of the Year. He attended and played football at the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of St. Thomas (MN). He graduated with a degree in business leadership and management. Gabe now resides in Naples, FL where he enjoys working in the life settlement industry. In his free time, he loves to play golf, pickle ball, and eat great food. Gabe is thankful to have gained experience of many cultures from traveling all across the world.
Colleen Thurber was raised in the Upper Midwest. During Colleen’s career, she worked for a major insurance company managing license and registration activities and in the viatical/life settlement industry where she’s responsible for regulatory compliance. Colleen also has enjoyed being an educator in the town of Annandale Minnesota where she and her husband live. Colleen and her husband, Bob have been married for 26 years and have two children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Mia Warnemunde was born in Seoul, Korea and was adopted at 6 mos. old. Mia grew up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities, and currently resides in Fridley, Minnesota. Mia has worked in the life insurance industry for over 27 years, starting her career with Prudential for over 13 years, and has currently been with FairMarket Life Settlements now for over 14 years. Mia has one son, who will be starting his 2nd year of college this fall. Mia enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. Mia enjoys traveling; Mia has been to several different states in the US, and has also traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, London, Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Nice, Monte Carlo, and South Korea.
Heather Hystone was born in, and currently resides in, Minneapolis, MN. She attended Brown Institute for Computer Operations which led to a decade as a mainframe Computer Operator for banking institutions and advanced to a position as a Commercial Construction Loan Processor. She has held various administrative positions with the most recent being Billing and Accounts Receivable for long term care facilities with a pharmacy chain.
Peyton Minder was born and raised in New Berlin, IL. He attended college at Lincoln Land Community College and St. Ambrose University where he played baseball. Peyton studied business administration and was named Academic All-American in 2018 and 2019. Peyton now resides in Naples, FL where he is an assistant baseball coach at Naples High School. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, and visiting friends and family.
